Cinnamon Roll Waffles

 I mean...
Just look at these and TRY not to drool on your computer!

Ready for the super complicated ingredient list?
Can of Cinnamon Rolls
Cooking Spray
Powdered Sugar
Milk
Vanilla Extract.

YOU ALREADY HAVE ALL OF THOSE THINGS IN YOUR HOUSE.
I promise.

The Waffles:
Get your waffle iron out and heat 'er up
Spray a healthy coat of cooking spray on both sides
Put one rolled up cinnamon roll in the middle of the iron
Close the iron (you might need to push down a bit) for ~3-4 minutes (til they cook)

Remove and Repeat.

The Icing:
Take the little cup of icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls and scoop into a small bowl
Add 1/3 cup of powdered sugar
Add 1 tablespoon of milk
Add 1/3 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Mix it all together well
Then use your fork to drip the icing over the hot waffles.
Then use your fork to eat them.

I told you! Super super easy and simple. You'll love them

Scenes from the Weekend

Things have been going along all crazy year.
I'm definitely enjoying the weekends, and trying to find my voice again for this little spot of mine.

Friday Night was for tacos,

and relaxing with a book in the tub.

I've picked up Serena and it's actually pretty good so far.
I tend to stick with non-fiction or historical fiction, so it's a bit of a change of pace.
Except not really, since it's set in the early 1900s..
in Western, North Carolina...
and they talk about Biltmore.

Saturday morning we worked on cleaning out the guest room a bit.
Shiva helped.
Sorta.

Then we met up with some of Mike's friends from Georgia Tech for a beer.

A pretty uneventful Saturday night switched into a perfectly relaxed Sunday Morning.
A perfect Sunday morning complete with mimosas and bloody marys,

and Cinnamon Roll Waffles,

and a lot of Football.

Why do weekends seem to be so short?
Why is my glass always empty?
Deep questions going on over here ;)

HOWEVER: Check back this week for a LIFE CHANGING recipe:
Cinnamon. Roll. Waffles.
They're easier than poptarts and so delicious, you'll flip. I swear
