AT&T Park

 Like I said earlier,
we booked tickets to tour AT&T park.
Yeah, it's baseball season but the Giants weren't in town.

It didn't really matter though.
The weather was so good, I'd have stayed there all day.

Inside the stadium was just as awesome.
The Giants are the only ballpark licensed to use the Peanuts characters.
Charles Schultz was apparently a big fan.

We also got to tour the locker rooms.

Then we also got to go on the field.
Not on the grass, but on the low tracking sand.

It's really cool to imagine being here when the stands are filled.

We also got to see the dugout.

And, play in the dugout.

Finally, like always, we checked out the store.
Always go to the team store. You can find the most authentic, most kitchy or most awesome things you're looking for, or didn't know you needed to look for.
EXAMPLE: A toboggan with a built in beard.

or a shirt that makes you want to wave your ring around.
(While singing along with Marilyn Monroe..of course)

Weekend Update

Another week and another short bit of snippets.

Friday
When you have days that tend to drag,
sometimes texts are exchanged that go something like this:
"Dinner or Happy Hour and Apps?"
"YES. Meet you in an hour"

Yet, because we live in California, you can get home in time to water the plants, in full sun.
(Also, this seems to give Shiva a chance to chase down the crazy water)
(Also Also, horray for rainbows!)

Saturday
We had set up a tour for AT&T Park.
Gotta check out all the local sports teams before you make decisions, right?

Can I just say, that the weather was -GORGEOUS-.
San Francisco has approximately 4 days a year.
We definitely scored on that.

Psst. Their store has some pretty cute merch.
I could'nt resist this though.

Then we got to the fun part.
The Hills.
No, not THAT "The Hills", the real San Fran - trying to kill the breaks and accelerator on my car because it's a silly Prius that can't handle that- Hills.

We had a groupon for chicken sandwiches and tater tots.
Because every adult needs tater tots.
We also apparently missed the "we serve drinks DIY style with a half liter of bourbon"
Never fear dear parents, we didnt come close to finishing the booze.

Sunday
Mornings spent in the kitchen, barefoot, with champagne, are always a good idea.
Forgetting you've scheduled a vendor meeting and sitting down to brunch at the exact same time,
not such a good idea.

Also, training your dog not to eat off your plate or beg, good idea.
Having your dogs head the same height as your table, not such a good idea.

She sure does have that beggar look down.

Stay tuned for more pics of our ATT Park tour coming up soon!

Cable Car tour of SF

Our next day in San Francisco,
was spent doing a cable car tour.
I would link you to the website, but devastatingly,
they no longer offer tours.
There are "ducks" and "buses" and other tours you can take if you want.

Our Car

Our tour took us through the Presidio,
which was awesome,
and you can rent the adorable houses below
for a mere $6000.

We also saw some Painted Ladies!

We saw the SF Museum of Fine arts,

and OF COURSE,
the Golden Gate Bridge.

Yes, he made me nervous when he did this..
<3

I know most people try to shy away from overly touristy activies,
but I really can't recommend them enough.
For a small period of time.
Bite the bullet, take 3 hours out, and SEE the things that are on the list,
then sneak into a bar off the street and pretend your local.

SF Tour

After we returned to the Bay Area from NC,
Mike's family came out to go exploring!
The first day, we headed in SF to check out Pier 39, Ghiradelli, and a couple other "must sees"

behind the scenes.

LOOK! It's our whole pet family in really expensive tile.
Shiva, Olive, Oi

That's Alcatraz in the background..

The next pic is one of my favorites, it just screams SF to me.
Fishermans Wharf, Cable Car, Fog, Sunset..

Del Monte Cannery

Feeding the birds.

We also stopped in at Ghiradelli Square.
My advice, skip buying food/drinks there, the line is INSANE
buy some of the "San Fran" chocolate to take home and check out the minitour.
(We got a dark chocolate with cabernet in it..fantastic)

Street Performers
Sourdough sculptures!

We had a few more funfilled days that included:
wine country,
a cable car tour,
and a visit to a local comedy club.
But you'll have to come back tomorrow.
