AT&T Park

 Like I said earlier,
we booked tickets to tour AT&T park.
Yeah, it's baseball season but the Giants weren't in town.

It didn't really matter though.
The weather was so good, I'd have stayed there all day.

Inside the stadium was just as awesome.
The Giants are the only ballpark licensed to use the Peanuts characters.
Charles Schultz was apparently a big fan.

We also got to tour the locker rooms.

Then we also got to go on the field.
Not on the grass, but on the low tracking sand.

It's really cool to imagine being here when the stands are filled.

We also got to see the dugout.

And, play in the dugout.

Finally, like always, we checked out the store.
Always go to the team store. You can find the most authentic, most kitchy or most awesome things you're looking for, or didn't know you needed to look for.
EXAMPLE: A toboggan with a built in beard.

or a shirt that makes you want to wave your ring around.
(While singing along with Marilyn Monroe..of course)

  1. during the summer, they'll usually have 'opera at the ballpark,' where they'll simulcast an opera on the huge screen - AND if you get in early enough, you can nab a picnicking spot on the grass! i'll be sure to let you know when they announce when.
