This weekend, I'm heading down to New Orleans.
I'm meeting up with 4 of my greatest friends and I CAN.NOT.WAIT.
I don't really know what I'm looking forward to most..
the beignets?
the architecture?
the souvenir hunt?
the streets?
the music?
I love that city and can't wait for my next visit.

DeleteHow much fun!! I must admit, I've never been...but I've watched The Princess and the Frog enough to know that I need beignets in my life.

"Beignet" must be French for "sugar-coated, golden-brown happiness." I've never been to NOLA, but my hometown (oddly enough, since I'm northern) has a NOLA-style cafe, so I've feasted on fresh beignets many a time.
