Another Monday huh?
Time to relive the weekend and take a break from another Manic Monday.
I can't honestly say that Friday night was good for anything but take out Chinese
and watching Shiva be weird.
Saturday
I met up with Angela for lunch an a bit of a Vestique spree. It was my first time meeting a blogger or someone that I met online.. (other than Mike of course) and I'm quite ticked off at myself that we didn't manage to take ANY photos of the event. HOWEVER, she seriously lives RIGHT down the street from me, so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other.
Vestique was awesome, as always, and a big THANKS to Mike's mama for my gift certificate. It was put to good use :)
After I got home from that, Mike and I went to 42st Oyster Bar downtown.

The. Best. Mahi-Mahi. Ever. |
Mike got new glasses. |
Well...I tried an oyster. |
the bathroom was fantastic! |
Sunday:
We slept in a bit
then Mike brewed
post to come later. |
and then, in keeping with tradition, we grilled.
I definitely think we've outdone ourselves on this one.
The salmon was P.E.R.F.E.C.T. and the veggies and rice all merged together so well.
Wine and Smore pairing. |

Those smores look delish, as did all the food! Sounds like a great weekend :) Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI want all the delicious things in this post! Including that adorable puppy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a perfect weekend. I give you credit in trying a oyster- I don't even think I would have had the courage to even put it near my mouth. YUCK!
ReplyDeleteThose signs in the bathroom are amazing. Reminds me of the Stella & Dot packaging that says things like "you are so smart and stylish" and "you're gorgeous." Looks like you didn't mind the oyster. Thanks for linking up!
