Weekend Update

Friday

Friday was a night of leftovers, unwinding, and watching the Mets Game.

Shiva was much more into it than me.

Saturday

Mike spent the daytime brewing 60gallons over at the NCSU test plant.
I'm sure you'll hear more about it soon.
My mom and dad came into town to get her hair cut (and see me, I think.)

No, it was Shiva.
They came to see her.

Demon Dog apparently.
She loved everyone.

Mom also brought some books, a juicer, cookie cutters and a handmade blanket for me.
Am I lucky or what?
I finally got the chance to give them their birthday/anniversary/Father's Day cards.
I also surprised them with a 3 day vacation later in the year for the 40th Anniversary pressie.
40 years. Can you even fathom?

Mad Love.

Ruby Tuesdays for Lunch

Sushi for dinner!

Then we headed out to our friend Blake's birthday.

Candles!

Delish.
What is it about surprise parties that are so much fun?
Anyway, we bounced around a couple different bars,
and jazz lounges then called it a night.
Old Fashioned
 Sunday

Sunday calls for bagels, blogging (for me), homework (for him)
napping (for Shiva) and games of tag (for the kittens).
Ok, and maybe a side of the Bachelorette.

Seriously, delish.

What'd you do this weekend?
